ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Lisa, founder and lead tutor at Stepping Stones.
Before embarking on this venture, I taught at an FE College, supporting students who needed to resit their English and Maths exams, after not quite achieving the results they wanted at GCSE.
Most of them hated the classroom environment, they struggled with long, boring sessions and honestly just wanted to get on with their vocational studies.
These kids were super talented, but they wanted to learn differently! So... I mixed up my curriculum, asked for feedback, introduced short, engaging activities, and what-do-you-know? We started seeing passes all round!
My dream is to to make this kind of tuition accessible to everyone going through their GCSE's!
